Experience Diving with Hammerhead Sharks
Hammerhead Sharks
Dive with Hammerhead Sharks in Bimini
Diving with hammerhead sharks in Bimini is one of the most unique underwater experiences in the world.
Each year from November through April, Great Hammerhead sharks gather just offshore, creating a rare opportunity to see these powerful animals up close. This is not an aquarium or a controlled setting. It’s a real, open-water experience with no cages, just you and one of the ocean’s most iconic predators.

Expect
What to Expect on the Hammerhead Safari
This is a guided dive experience designed for certified divers who want a real shark encounter.
Your day begins at the dive shop at Bimini Big Game Club, where you’ll check in before departure. From there, you’ll take a boat ride to the dive site, often referred to as “Hammer Headquarters.”
Once on site, the crew will begin attracting hammerheads. When sharks are present and conditions are right, divers are invited into the water.
The dive site is approximately 20 feet deep, allowing for clear views and extended bottom time. Throughout the day, you’ll typically complete multiple dive sessions, with breaks in between to relax on the boat.
